Shanaya is a multidisciplinary artist based in Paris. Born in Maputo, Mozambique, and raised on different continents and cultures, she decided to use her artistic skills to make sense of her inner world. In her own words: "My hope is that the art that heals me can also touch and inspire you."

Shanaya's latest project consists of acrylic map paintings that seek to recall the intrinsic value of each country through golden reflections. She began this ongoing series to celebrate her origins and multicultural background, painting her continent, which led her to paint the countries she lived in, followed by those she visited, and which inspired her to continue expanding the concept to all countries in the world, hoping to exhibit her works later.
